Holographic communication or Holo-Call uses a 3D facial reconstruction algorithm to generate a dynamic 3D facial model, and then the model can be displayed using the DesktopAR technology to show the true depth field. The Desktop AR system deploys a spatial display technology that allows a computer monitor to display CGI models as if the 3D models are floating in front or inside a screen. Combining the DesktopAR system and our real-time 3D facial technology, we can see the exciting ways of how we will communicate on a day-to-day basis. In the near future, we would be able to communicate as if we are meeting in real persons. You can make your own holographic / hologram applications with DesktopVR / DesktopAR using Holo-SDK.
