Join HOLO-HACKATHON , a Competition for  Desktop AR application development.

Holo-SDK by Perception is hosting a competition, HOLO-HACKATHON, which we challenge you to develop applications with the new Desktop AR technology, using Holo-SDK. If you are passionate about AR technology and ready to share your creativity, here is your chance to share your ideas and show them to the world.

Coding

Download Holo-SDK package and create your app.

Terms and Conditions

​

  • Only use Holo-SDK and Unity to develop applications.

  • Hackathoner license is valid for 1 year.

  • Applications with violent and obscene contents are not allowed.

  • The winner will be announced on our Facebook page, Holo-SDK by Perception, and our decision is final. 

  • The winner must confirm within 1 day after the winner is announced.

  • All prize winners are required to cover the shipping costs.

  • There may be a slight change in the prizes based on the current availability of the products on the market, but we will make sure that the values of the prizes are similar.

Submission

HOW TO SUBMIT APPLICATION 

Participants develop Desktop AR applications and submit them to us for voting on our official Facebook and Twitter page.  Multiple app submissions are allowed. Follow the steps to submit your applications.

Build your application from Unity and upload it to git repository

Demo Video

Upload 1 minute video for presenting your app to Youtube with #HoloHackathon

Voting

VOTING & CRITERIA 

All apps are posted on the Forum and shared on our official Facebook page and Twitter for voting. You can see more details about the voting schedule at Competition Schedule.

Here are the point-counting criteria:

  • 1 like on our forum = 5 points (voters have to sign up before voting) 

 

  • 1 like on Facebook = 1 point

  • 1 share on Facebook = 5 points

 

  • 1 like on Twitter = 1 point

  • 1 retweet on Twitter = 5 points
